PRESS RELEASE

With Article to Video as its first product, Aldeus turns the entire content flow of media outlets, businesses and organizations into ready-to-publish branded videos — automatically, and in each brand's unique visual identity. The platform is in beta and already operates daily with selected media outlets.

Athens, 1 September 2026

The founding team announces the creation of Aldeus, a new Greek technology company developing infrastructure for automating and scaling video content production.

Aldeus was born out of Celyphos's experience in producing and managing video content for media outlets, businesses and organizations. Daily contact with content teams surfaced a persistent problem: audiences now get their news in social feeds — and feeds speak in video. Yet video production, as it is done today, is slow, manual and fairly expensive. As a result, only a small fraction of the content organizations produce is ever published in video form — and usually not at the moment it has value.

For a media outlet or an organization, this is no longer a matter of efficiency but of presence: whoever is not where the audience looks for the news first — that is, in the feed — in quantity, in quality and at the moment news breaks, simply does not exist for an ever-growing share of their audience. Aldeus was created as an independent technology company to solve exactly this, at scale.

From existing content to finished video — for many articles at once, within minutes

Aldeus's first product, Article to Video, converts any article, text or URL into a complete branded video, ready for publication. With real visual material — photos and footage from your archive, the news agencies and your published content, not synthetic graphics.

In practice, the process is remarkably simple: a single person pastes the articles they want — as many as they want, at once — and within minutes receives all the finished videos without having to do anything. Most of the time they are ready to publish as they are; where something is needed, a short instruction in the chat is enough, and the change is made in seconds. No production team, no editing skills, no new workflow is required — the only stage that remains human is the one that should be: approval.

This is also the defining difference from text-to-video tools: those are editing programs — one operator, one template, one video at a time, with results that look AI-generated and hardly differ from brand to brand. Aldeus is infrastructure: content is the input, videos are the output.

How it works: video that actually tells the story

For each article, the platform analyzes the text and builds the story beats — the video's narrative structure — based on each outlet's style. AI models then identify which segments of the article's available visual material should be cut and which elements should appear at each point, so that the picture actually tells the story: the viewer understands the essence of the news from the video itself, without needing to read the article. Narration, titles and subtitles complete the result, and every video is adapted to the formats of websites and social platforms.

A unique format for every organization — not templates

The foundation of the platform is each organization's unique format. Every newsroom designs its own video style — colors, typography, animations, transitions, pacing — tailored to its character: a lifestyle site does not "speak" like a political or news outlet. Alternatively, it is enough to upload a video already in use: Aldeus's algorithm analyzes it frame by frame, reconstructs it as a format and applies it automatically to every future video.

Formats do not come from ready-made templates and are never reused for another organization — the result is indistinguishable from in-house production. And every change the team requests is permanently embedded in the format and applied to all subsequent videos: the platform "learns" each brand better and better with use.

Technology that fits into the existing workflow

For media outlets, this means the entire daily news output — not a selection of top stories — can take video form, without a parallel production structure and without new hires.

For businesses, organizations and agencies, corporate announcements, research, presentations, thought-leadership and executive content are systematically turned into branded videos, in full consistency with each brand's identity and communication rules.

"Video has become the primary way audiences encounter news and corporate content — but producing it remained the privilege of those with time, teams and budget. Aldeus turns it into infrastructure: any organization can have a constant, daily presence in the video feed, using the content it already produces," says Georgios Zeritis, Co-founder & CEO of Aldeus.

Themis Drakonakis, Co-founder & CPO of Aldeus, notes: "We didn't build a better editing tool — we removed the entire editing process. Every news story, and everything an organization publishes in text, can now also circulate as video, in its own identity, at the moment it matters."

From Article to Video to a broader video infrastructure

Article to Video is the first application of Aldeus's technology. The company is already developing the next stages: automatic clipping from shows, interviews and events with simple instructions from the editor, real-time clipping from live broadcasts, and algorithmic selection of the segments worth publishing — always in each channel's format and dimensions.

The company's direction thus goes beyond a single tool: Aldeus is building the technological infrastructure that allows organizations with large content flows to systematically carry everything they publish into video.

The content is already there. Text remains the source — video becomes the way it reaches the audience. Aldeus is the infrastructure that makes it happen.
